Main Street Meaford’s Current Primary Projects:
Sykes Street Alleyway
The Sykes Street alleyway, located between The Cook’s Cupboard and Pursonally Yours in downtown Meaford, is about to get a vibrant makeover! The MSM board is hard at work designing a welcoming, informative, and collaborative space that will showcase ongoing initiatives, local art, and much more.
We’d love to hear your ideas on how we can make this space even more engaging and enjoyable for both locals and visitors.
Market Square
The redevelopment of downtown Meaford’s “Market Square” is a strategic priority for the current Council term. You can learn more about the Municipality’s plans here. As an integral part of downtown Meaford’s revitalization, MSM is committed to being a vocal and instrumental partner in this project. Through comprehensive surveys and consultations with local stakeholders, business owners, and the broader community, we aim to present Council with the most effective, impactful, meaningful, and well-informed plans for this space.
Downtown Wayfinding
Out-of-town visitors depend on clear wayfinding to navigate unfamiliar areas. We are committed to enhancing downtown wayfinding with improved parking signage and other initiatives designed to bring visitors to our downtown core, and keep them enjoying our town longer.
Christmas Window Displays
We are excited to partner with Christmas on the Bay this year to offer interactive window displays in three downtown stores: Remax, Purrsonally yours, and Chic Hair Boutique.
